(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 22nd, the Economic Police Team (Vinh City Police) dismantled a ring producing fake diplomas and other types of documents.

On Dinh Cong Trang Street in Le Mao Ward, Vinh City, the Economic Police Team of Vinh City Police discovered and apprehended Nguyen Kim Hong, born in 1976, residing in Le Loi Ward (Vinh City), while she was trading in forged documents of agencies and organizations.
At the scene, the police seized 7 diplomas from colleges in Vinh City, several certified copies of original documents, transcripts, school records and fake certificates, and 12 fake A1 motorcycle driving licenses.

At the police station, Hong confessed that all the fake documents were made by Dau Thi Tuyet, born in 1969, residing in Truong Tien block, Hung Binh ward. Following an arrest warrant and urgent search of Tuyet's residence in Hung Binh ward, the Economic Police Team (Vinh City Police) discovered and seized nearly 100 blank fake diplomas, certificates, and certifications with forged stamps, as well as printing equipment and seals.

During a search of Hong's residence in Le Loi ward, authorities seized four school transcripts and certified copies bearing official stamps.

Currently, Vinh City Police are holding Hong and Tuyet, along with all the seized evidence, in custody for further investigation.
