Nghe An province honors 53 outstanding young people and youth union members.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 24th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized a ceremony to meet and exchange ideas with Youth Union officials from different periods and to commend 53 outstanding individuals.youth, team membersrepresentative.

Attending the ceremony were: Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Central Committee of the Party - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Phu Truong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Children's Affairs Department, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Children's Council; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; former members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union from various periods; representatives of departments and agencies; Secretaries of district, city, and town Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Unions.

At the program, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of the Youth Union over the past 85 years. With the attention and direct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the youth of Nghe An have gradually developed and made worthy contributions to the liberation and construction of their homeland and country.

Young people from Nghe An have been present in the most challenging areas, the border regions of the Fatherland; they have volunteered to go to remote mountainous areas to live and eat with ethnic minorities, guide them in economic development and production, and provide education for students.

From the youth union's action movements, many exemplary young people have emerged, achieving outstanding results and making important contributions to the socio-economic development and national defense. Throughout 85 years of dedication and growth, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has received many prestigious awards from the Provincial Party Committee and people, most notably the First-Class Independence Medal from the Party in 2006.

The commemorative ceremony included an exchange between outstanding young people and former Youth Union officials, and an awards ceremony honoring outstanding young people and children throughout the province in 2016. The 26/3 Award was presented to 53 outstanding young people and Youth Union members, representing nearly 1 million young people and children across the province, for their moral character, enthusiasm, perseverance, solidarity, and creativity.
