According to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of March 5, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, with temperatures in the North Central region ranging from 14-17 degrees Celsius.

From the morning of March 6, the North East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) and the sea area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa will have strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, and waves 2.0-5.0m high.

Implement the directive of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on proactively responding to severe cold and strong winds at sea.

To proactively respond to severe cold and strong winds at sea, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requests the Steering Committees for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of districts, cities and towns; and relevant agencies and units to implement:

For cold:

Closely monitor warning bulletins and forecasts on the development of cold air and promptly inform local authorities and people to proactively take appropriate preventive measures.

Implement cold response plans. Disseminate and guide livestock households to strengthen barns, cover and keep warm, and store food; prevent and control diseases for livestock and poultry; and provide guidance on measures to ensure safety for rice, vegetable and other crop production.

For strong winds at sea (coastal districts and towns):

Closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts and developments of strong winds at sea; notify captains and owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea to proactively prevent and have appropriate production plans, ensuring safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle possible bad situations.

At the same time, organize the duty seriously, regularly report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense.
