This is one of the activities to concretize the objectives of the Project "Propaganda, mobilization, and guidance for farmers".production, business, consumption of safe agricultural products and food,period 2020-2023".

Thereby, to create a strong change in awareness and consciousness of farmers in the whole province about safe agricultural and food production; improve the level and knowledge of farmers, especially knowledge of safe agricultural and food production and processing; form the habit of consuming safe agricultural and food products among the people...

Accordingly, the specific goal in 2022 is to build5 production models, processing of safe agricultural and food products, including:1 safe vegetable growing model using sprinkler irrigation technology in Thanh Chuong district; 2 intensive grapefruit growing models intercropped with guava following VietGAP standards in Thanh Chuong district and Do Luong district; 2 fish sauce processing models ensuring environmental hygiene in Nghi Loc district and Dien Chau district.

At the same time, build 5 stores to display, introduce and trade safe agricultural products and food in the districts.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association emphasized: After 2 years of implementing the project, farmers' associations at all levels in the province have also carried out many practical activities to propagate and mobilize members to implement legal regulations on food safety; organize knowledge training, build models to guide farmers in producing and trading safe agricultural products and food.

Many products of members and farmers are certified for food safety, meeting VietGAP and GLOBGAP standards; hundreds of products are certified as 3-star and 4-star OCOP products. Many agricultural products are consumed better and have higher profits thanks to ensuring food safety procedures in production and processing.

However, the awareness of a large number of producers, traders and consumers about food safety is still limited, the abuse of plant protection chemicals, the use of banned substances and stimulants of unknown origin is still widespread.

Therefore, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Farmers' Association organized the launch of "Nghe An farmers produce, trade and consume safe agricultural products and food" to promote propaganda, raise awareness and consciousness of farmer members to comply with legal regulations on the use of plant varieties, animal breeds, fertilizers, animal feed, pesticides, veterinary drugs, growth stimulants, weight gainers, food preservatives and other substances related to food safety.

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented gifts from Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company and Dabaco Central Company to disadvantaged households in Hung Thanh Commune (Hung Nguyen). At the same time, the launching ceremonyClub "Farmers producing safe agricultural products and food"Hung Thanh commune with the participation of 70 members, these are local spice vegetable producers.
