The Mid-Autumn Festival is not only the busiest time of year for lion dance troupes but also provides a source of seasonal income for many, especially young members. Behind the vibrant performances are months of diligent practice. And more than just economic value, each drum beat and each lion dance contributes to preserving the beauty of traditional culture, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere for each Mid-Autumn Festival.
