Artist Thuong Tin, whose full name is Bui Thuong Tin, born in 1956, is one of the most prominent actors in Vietnamese cinema during the 1980s and 1990s. He began his career in Cai Luong (traditional Vietnamese opera) but achieved fame and widespread public recognition through the field of film.

With a filmography of nearly 200 movies, he was hailed as an icon of the silver screen at the time. Audiences remember him through classic roles such as Major Luu Ky Vong in "The Upside Down Game," the bandit Bach Hai Duong in "SBC," Sau Tam in "Saigon Commando," and Tam Thuong in "The Battlefield Divided by a Half Moon." He once held the record for the actor who appeared in the most feature films in a single year, affirming his position and significant influence in the film industry.
