Meritorious Artist Nguyen An Ninh is a script writer and drama actor who worked at the Traditional Arts Center of Nghe An province.
He is the author who has almost exclusively adapted scripts for the past 20 years at the Provincial Traditional Arts Center. All of Nghe Tinh folk drama works were adapted from literary scripts into Nghe Tinh folk drama by People's Artist An Ninh. Among them, many works have won Gold Medals at national professional folk drama festivals. A person awarded the title of People's Artist must have a continuous or cumulative professional artistic activity period of 20 years or more, and for circus and dance art forms, a continuous or cumulative professional artistic activity period of 15 years or more.
This person must also be awarded at least two Gold prizes or one Gold prize and two Silver prizes at national, regional or international art festivals and performances and Central literary and artistic associations since being awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
