Vietnamese artists bid farewell to musician Nguyen Anh 9.

At 6:00 AM on April 18th, the funeral procession for musician Nguyen Anh 9 took place at his private residence in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The ceremony lasted nearly an hour before the musician's remains were taken to Binh Hung Hoa Cemetery for cremation. To maintain privacy for the family, visitors waited outside.

Cam Van was one of the first Vietnamese artists to arrive.

Around 7 a.m., the family completed the home ceremony and began to head to the vehicle to take the coffin of musician Nguyen Anh 9 to the crematorium. Musician Nguyen Quang - the eldest son of the late musician - was in charge of carrying the incense burner. He suppressed his grief so that his father could depart peacefully.

The wife of musician Nguyen Anh 9, Mrs. Ngoc Han, and her children and grandchildren watched as the coffin was carried away.

The musician's wife was helped away by family members. The whole family could not hold back their emotions during this farewell moment.

Composer Nguyen Anh 9, whose real name is Nguyen Dinh Anh, was born in 1940 in Ninh Thuan. At the age of 18, he began pursuing a career in music. His famous songs include:A vast expanse of sorrowful love, for a lover far away, loneliness, farewell, sadness.In recent years, the musician has stopped composing and has been playing the piano at several hotels in Ho Chi Minh City.

On March 20th, composer Nguyen Anh 9 was rushed to the hospital in a coma. He regained consciousness and was constantly attended to by his family at the hospital. After nearly a month in the hospital, the composer fell into a coma again and passed away at noon on April 14th.
