Mr. An has been identified as the main suspect in the murder of his wife, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoang (46 years old), on March 8th at their home. Mr. An is suspected to have died from suicide by drinking herbicide.
According to Colonel Son, the investigating agency is currently examining blood and urine samples to determine the cause of Mr. An's death. Regarding Mrs. Hoang's death, the investigating agency suspects she was murdered by her husband using weapons found in the house.
Earlier, at around 9 a.m. on March 8th, Ms. Hoang's daughter returned home and found her mother dead in the bathroom with multiple wounds to her head, so she called for help from the neighbors.
Upon checking inside the house, neighbors discovered Mr. An lying motionless, showing signs of poisoning. At the scene, residents also found a nearly empty bottle of imported liquor and three used bottles of herbicide.
According to the victim's relatives and neighbors, Mr. An and his wife had three children together. Their life together was fraught with conflict, leading to their separation. On the evening before the incident, Mr. An and his wife had an argument.
