Husband suspected of killing wife then drinking weed killer to commit suicide

On the morning of March 10, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Son - Head of Dak Doa District Police (Gia Lai) said that Mr. Huynh Van An (49 years old, residing in Ward 9, Dak Doa town) died at the hospital.

Mr. An was identified as the main suspect in the murder of his wife, Mrs. Dinh Thi Hoang (46 years old) on March 8 at their home. Mr. An died from suspected suicide by drinking weed killer.

According to Colonel Son, the investigation agency is currently examining blood and urine samples to determine the cause of Mr. An's death. Regarding Ms. Hoang's death, the investigation agency suspects that she was murdered by her husband with weapons in the house.

Before that, around 9am on March 8, Ms. Hoang's daughter came home and found her mother dead in the bathroom, with many wounds on her head, so she called for help from the neighbors.

Inside the house, neighbors found Mr. An lying motionless, showing signs of poisoning. At the scene, people also discovered a nearly empty bottle of foreign wine and three bottles of used weed killer.

According to the victim's relatives and neighbors, Mr. An and his wife had 3 children together. Their lives were full of conflicts, so they separated. On the evening before the incident, Mr. An and his wife had an argument.
