Suspected gunman shot dead man in barber shop
A group of young men entered a barber shop, threatened the victim with what appeared to be a gun and fired two shots, seriously injuring him.
The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on March 15, at a barber shop in My Dinh 2 ward (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi).
At that time, a group of young men entered the barber shop, asked questions, yelled at the staff, then returned. A moment later, these people returned and a subject wearing a hat, glasses, and a mask ran into the shop, pulled out a gun-like object from his pocket, pointed it straight inside, and then an explosion was heard.
After committing the crime, the suspects fled the scene. The victim was taken to hospital 198 for emergency treatment.
Regarding the above incident, on the morning of March 17, the leader of My Dinh 2 Ward Police (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) confirmed that the incident had occurred in the area and said that the Criminal Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police is investigating and arresting the perpetrators.
Regarding the victim's injuries, the ward police leader said the victim was hit in the head, had bruises on his face, and had a laceration on his thigh suspected to have been caused by a sharp object.
The case is currently under further investigation by the authorities.
