On the afternoon of August 10, Mr. Bui Trong Long - Chairman of Ma Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, said that at about 1:30 a.m. the same day, he received a report from the people about two young men (about 25 - 30 years old) suspected of stealing dogs in the An Market area of ​​Ma Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District. The commune police quickly arrived to rescue the two young men who were surrounded and beaten by the people, and their motorbikes were burned.

The two victims (identities unknown) were rescued by the police, then taken to the commune health station for emergency treatment and transferred to the district hospital, where they overcame the critical condition.
