(Baonghean.vn) - Suspected of stealing dogs in the An Market area of ​​Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, two young men were surrounded and beaten by locals, who also set their motorbike on fire.

On the afternoon of August 10th, Mr. Bui Trong Long, Chairman of Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, stated that at approximately 1:30 AM that same day, they received a report from residents about two young men (around 25-30 years old) suspected of stealing dogs in the An Market area of ​​Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. The commune police quickly arrived to rescue the two young men who were being beaten and had their motorbike set on fire by residents.

The motorbike belonging to the two young men was set on fire by local residents.

Two victims (whose identities are unknown) were rescued by the police, then taken to the commune's health station for emergency treatment and transferred to the district hospital, where they are now out of critical condition.

The incident is currently being investigated by the Yen Thanh District Police.
