Knife attack suspect in Finland is Moroccan refugee
According to Reuters, on August 21, a Finnish court said the suspect in the knife attack in the city of Turku that killed two women and injured eight others on August 18 was an 18-year-old Moroccan asylum seeker named Abderrahman Mechkah.

The suspect faces charges of murder and attempted murder with a terrorist motive, according to an emailed statement. According to the latest information, Mechkah can participate in the trial via online video from the hospital after being shot in the leg by police and arrested on August 18.
Police said the suspect appeared to target women.
A video taken by local residents at the scene shortly after the attack shows a man shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is great).
Police are investigating the attack as a terrorist incident and are investigating whether it is linked to the truck attack in Barcelona, Spain, that left 13 people dead. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the knife attack./.
