Nghi Loc has 165 economic models run by young people.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 19th, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghi Loc district held the opening ceremony of its 26th Congress, for the term 2017-2022, with 168 delegates representing over 5,000 youth union members attending the congress.

During the past term, over 90% of Youth Union branches organized study sessions on the ideology and moral example of Ho Chi Minh; more than 300 branches were recognized as "Branch following Uncle Ho's teachings"; over 1,000 youth projects and activities were carried out in accordance with Uncle Ho's teachings; 120 outstanding young people and nearly 2,000 children were commended for following Uncle Ho's teachings.

Youth movements are developing increasingly strongly and effectively. The entire district has 165 economic models run by young people, each generating an income of 50-200 million VND per year. In addition, youth union members in rural areas are also leading the way in participating in the new rural development movement through youth projects and initiatives. During the term, more than 1,000 youth projects and initiatives were implemented, valued at over 2 billion VND.

The District Youth Union has nurtured and admitted 1,183 outstanding youth union members into the Party ranks. It has provided vocational training and job placement for 800 youth union members… Annually, the District Youth Union Standing Committee proactively coordinates with youth organizations in the province, as well as other organizations and individuals, to visit and present gifts to people and students inside and outside the district, totaling over 4,000 gifts worth nearly 1.5 billion VND. It has facilitated loans for youth production development totaling 51 billion VND. 100% of grassroots youth unions undertake at least two youth projects/tasks per year. The rate of youth union membership reaches 90%.

The Congress elected 27 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Nghi Loc District Youth Union for the 26th term (2017-2022) and 10 comrades to attend the 17th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.

On this occasion, the Nghi Loc District Youth Union was presented with a banner by the Nghi Loc District Party Committee bearing the inscription "Nghi Loc Youth promoting their role - Pioneering, exemplary, united, creative, building a prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and modern homeland."
