Nghi Loc held a meeting with Catholic Party members on the occasion of Christmas 2017.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Christmas 2017, on the afternoon of December 19th, the Standing Committee of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee organized a meeting and discussion with over 100 Catholic Party members in the district.

At the meeting, the district Party committee highly appreciated the pivotal role of Catholic Party members in propagating and mobilizing the people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; and effectively carrying out local emulation movements, especially the movement for national unity in building a cultured life associated with building new rural areas in the district.

Catholic party members attending the meeting expressed many opinions and maintained firm stances in the face of numerous difficulties; they requested the district to have specific solutions to transform the economic structure and create jobs for laborers in areas with Catholic communities; they also raised some concerns and proposed solutions regarding population work, party development, and improving the quality of party branch activities in Catholic areas.

Acknowledging the positive contributions of Catholic Party members, the Standing Committee of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee requested that these members further promote their pioneering and exemplary roles in the movement to build new rural areas and develop cultural life at the grassroots level. They should also mobilize the people to effectively carry out land clearance work to attract investment, ensure security and order in the area, and actively participate in building a strong Party and grassroots political system.
