The district's Covid-19 prevention and control steering committee has issued 6 decisions, 2 plans, and 20 official dispatches directing departments, branches, units, communes, and towns to implement.
In particular, the district issued a 10-step process on management, organization and supervision of quarantine, creating synchronization in the direction of epidemic prevention and control. The Department of Culture and Information promptly informed and transmitted 142 news and 15 articles on the district's information systems (District's electronic information portal, district radio and television station).
At agencies, units, schools, People's Committees of communes, towns and functional agencies have also sprayed disinfectant chemicals in residential areas, at 12 parish churches, 9 churches...

The District People's Committee also directed relevant agencies to review and monitor 51 foreigners working in the Nam Cam area. Provide information and advice on quarantine for entrants and conduct a general review and organize 12,698 families with relatives in other countries to sign a commitment to participate in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, thereby allowing the Steering Committees at all levels to be proactive in managing, organizing and supervising home quarantine for people returning from other countries.
As of April 1, 2020, the district has organized home quarantine for 262 people returning from other countries, 615 people returning and passing through provinces and cities with epidemics; organized quarantine at the center of the district, Nghi An Commune Boarding Secondary School 2 (Vinh City) for 526 people returning from Laos and Thailand (of which 129 people completed the quarantine period after 14 days).

In addition to the centralized quarantine area, the district directed the survey and selection of an additional centralized quarantine area located at Nguyen Duy Trinh High School to receive compatriots returning from Laos and Thailand when really necessary. At the same time, it ordered the repair of facilities and preparation of means for two centralized quarantine locations: the Army's rear base (Hamlet 09, Nghi Thinh Commune) and Nghi Hop Commune Health Station with 19 rooms, capable of receiving 60 people for quarantine.
The District General Hospital prepares conditions to respond to treatment when necessary: an isolation area (in the Infectious Diseases Department) with 25 beds; including a suspected area with 3 beds (3 rooms), a treatment area with 12 beds and an area for patients preparing to be discharged with 10 beds; at the same time, it purchases a number of vehicles for the hospital and medical stations, and epidemic prevention and control equipment for the forces participating in epidemic prevention and control.
Teacher Truong Thi Thuong - Principal of Quan Hanh Town Kindergarten said: The school always strictly follows the instructions on Covid-19 prevention and control and at the same time, actively participates in joining hands to support the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund launched by the district. Currently, the school has donated 6 million VND in cash and eggs, rice, squash, vegetables, fruits, and milk.
In order to share and demonstrate responsibility to the community, Tam Viet Enterprise has donated 100 million VND in cash and 300 pairs of medical gloves. These meaningful activities have been widely spread throughout the area and according to statistics from the District Fatherland Front Committee, up to now, 85 agencies, units and individuals have directly donated or registered to donate through various channels in the district with an amount of nearly 1 billion VND, nearly 3,000 kg of rice and many other types of food...
