The suspect in the murder of the kindergarten teacher is the commune police chief.

The suspect in the murder of a kindergarten teacher whose body was put in a sack and hidden in a garbage dump was identified as Pham Van Thong, chief of police in Dong Luong commune.

According to Thanh Hoa Police, on November 15, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Police coordinated with Lang Chanh District Police to investigate, clarify and arrest Pham Van Thong (born in 1972, residing in Dong Luong Commune, Lang Chanh District), the suspect in the murder and hiding of the body at the garbage dump in Dong Luong Commune.

According to the initial investigation results, the cause of the incident was due to a personal conflict between Ms. Le Thi Tam (born in 1974, residing in Tan Thuy village, Tan Phuc commune, Lang Chanh district) and Pham Van Thong, so on the evening of November 10, Thong used a motorbike to take Ms. Tam to the landfill area in Dong Luong commune, then used a woolen scarf to strangle Ms. Tam to death. After that, Thong put the body in a sack and took it to the landfill about 500m away to hide.

On November 12, when Tam's family did not see her return home, they went to school to look for her and reported the incident to the police.

As previously reported, on the evening of November 14, some local residents who were collecting scrap discovered a body in a sack that was beginning to decompose at the Dong Luong commune landfill, so they reported it to the authorities.

It is known that Ms. Le Thi Tam is currently a teacher at Tam Van kindergarten.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Police has issued an order to temporarily detain Pham Van Thong for murder and continue to investigate./.
