Suspected suicide by hanging due to gambling debts.

(Baonghean.vn) - After dinner, the wife went to the bedroom and discovered her husband, Le Van Dung, had hanged himself. It is suspected that Dung was addicted to video games and heavily in debt.

On the morning of June 6th, the authorities of Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, confirmed that a man had committed suicide by hanging himself in the area, leaving behind his pregnant wife and young child.

The victim was Le Van Dung (30 years old, residing in Hamlet 5, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District). Mr. Dung was a driver for a major taxi company in the province.

Earlier, at around 7 PM on June 5th, after the family had finished dinner, Mr. Dung went into the bedroom but did not come out. When his wife went into the bedroom, she discovered that Mr. Dung had hanged himself.

It is known that while working as a driver, Mr. Dung participated in illegal online fish shooting games for money. To fund his gaming, Mr. Dung borrowed large sums of money from many people but was unable to repay it.
