Mrs. Hoang Thi Hoa (born in 1938), the widow of a fallen soldier in Tan Hoa Hamlet, Nghia Dan Town, is currently in poor health and living in a dilapidated old house. Given this situation, the Party Branch and the Tan Hoa Hamlet Committee appealed to philanthropists for donations, raising 100 million VND to build a new house for her. After two months of construction, with the help of the people in the hamlet, the 60 m2, single-story house, valued at 145 million VND, was completed and handed over to the family.
This is truly a meaningful gift on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, and it demonstrates the Vietnamese tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source."
