Nghia Dan: 16 million VND support for poor women stops at 2 children

(Baonghean.vn) - The Center for Population and Family Planning of Nghia Dan district has just awarded 16 million VND to ethnic minority women in poor households with 2 children.

Implementing Decree No. 39/2015/ND-CP, dated April 27, 2015 of the Government on "Regulations on support policies for poor women who are ethnic minorities when giving birth in accordance with population policy", the Family Population and Family Planning Center of Nghia Dan district in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghia Lien commune has just organized the awarding of 8 gifts worth 16 million VND (each gift worth 2 million VND) to women who are ethnic minorities in poor households who give birth in accordance with population policy.

Through this support, the aim is to encourage people to maintain childbearing in accordance with population policy, contributing to ensuring labor resources and creating conditions for socio-economic development in the locality. After receiving the support money, households continue to sign a commitment to properly implement population policy - family planning./.
