Nghia Dan: Providing 16 million VND in support to poor women who stop at having 2 children.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Population and Family Planning Center of Nghia Dan district recently awarded 16 million VND to ethnic minority women from poor households who have stopped at having two children.

In accordance with Government Decree No. 39/2015/ND-CP dated April 27, 2015, on "Regulations on support policies for women from poor households who are ethnic minorities and give birth in accordance with population policies," the Family Planning Center of Nghia Dan district, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghia Lien commune, recently organized the awarding of 8 gifts totaling 16 million VND (2 million VND each) to women from ethnic minority groups in poor households who gave birth in accordance with population policies.

This support aims to encourage people to maintain childbirth in accordance with population policies, contributing to ensuring labor resources and creating conditions for socio-economic development in the locality. After receiving the financial support, the households continue to sign commitments to effectively implement population policies and family planning./.
