Nghia Dan: Supporting brocade weaving frames for Thai ethnic households
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 4, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district coordinated with Nghia Hoi commune to organize a ceremony to hand over brocade weaving frames to the people of Phu Tho hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune.

Phu Tho hamlet has 70 households, of which 60 are Thai ethnic households. The brocade weaving profession of Phu Tho hamlet people has been formed and developed for a long time; the products of the people here have become commodities, contributing significantly to the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, creating jobs and stable income for women in the commune.
At the handover ceremony, the District and Commune Fatherland Front Committees presented 2 weaving looms, each worth 6 million VND, drawn from the Fund for the Poor.
Supporting brocade weaving frames creates opportunities for families in Phu Tho hamlet to have more means of production, to maintain and develop the local brocade weaving profession, and increase family income./.
