Phu Tho hamlet has 70 households, of which 60 are ethnic Thai people. The craft of weaving brocade in Phu Tho hamlet has been established and developed for a long time; the products of the people here have become commodities, contributing significantly to the goal of poverty reduction and creating jobs with stable income for women in the commune.
At the handover ceremony, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district and commune presented two looms, each worth 6 million VND, funded by the Fund for the Poor.
Providing support for brocade weaving looms creates opportunities for families in Phu Tho hamlet to have more means of production, to maintain and develop the brocade weaving craft in the locality, and increase family income.
