Nghia Dan strives to achieve a total food production of 48,000 tons.
(Báonghean.vn) - The Nghia Dan District Party Committee approved the program and projects to implement the Resolution of the 28th District Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020.
Accordingly, the district has set a target of increasing the productivity, quality, and value of crops and livestock by at least 10-15% by 2020; while also meeting the requirements for food safety and hygiene for agricultural products brought to market.

By 2020, the proportion of agricultural production value applying science, technology, and high technology will account for 30-35% of the total agricultural production value. Total food production will reach 48,000 tons, with agriculture accounting for 43.55%. Value added will reach 67 million VND/person/year.
The poverty rate decreased by 2.5-3% (according to the new standard). The percentage of people engaged in agricultural production applying science, technology, and high technology reached 50%. Households (farms) with an income of over 500 million VND/year accounted for 10-15% of agricultural households.

To achieve these goals, the district's proposed solution is: to promote the application and transfer of technology; to implement processes according to VietGAP standards; to transform the crop structure appropriately, creating groups of crops such as fruit trees (oranges, tangerines, etc.), annual crops (green squash, watermelons, etc.), and short-term sugarcane crops.
Develop integrated models in livestock farming from production and processing to consumption; implement mechanisms and policies to support the price of high-economic-value breeds and livestock; build model projects, typical examples, brands, and geographical indications for products in the area.
