(Baonghean.vn)- On November 6, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district held a Conference to summarize movements to build cultural life, practice civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals.

In recent years, with the participation of Party committees at all levels, the Party, government and people, the movement to build a cultural life, practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals in Nghia Dan district has achieved encouraging results.

The district has built 24,771 cultural families. From the first 6 villages recognized as cultural villages in 1998, up to now, the whole district has 161 cultural villages. There are 12,437 sports families, 54,715 people regularly practice sports. 55 agencies, units and schools meet cultural standards.

The district has mobilized people to contribute resources to build new rural areas with an amount of over 12 billion VND, 60,000 working days, and donated 92,750m²land, thousands of meters of fence.
