Will Ngo Hoang Thinh join SLNA?
(Baonghean.vn) - Contract negotiations between the Nghe An team and midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh are progressing smoothly. It is highly likely that the player born in 1992 will return to play for SLNA next season.
Ngo Hoang Thinh has just parted ways with FLC Thanh Hoa after 3 years. According to the player himself, he and SLNA have recently reached an agreement in negotiations. Currently, both sides have almost finalized the terms of the contract. Unless something unexpected happens, Ngo Hoang Thinh will be an SLNA player as soon as the Nghe An team secures a new sponsor.
The player nicknamed Thinh "the mane" rose through the ranks of SLNA's youth academy and was a key player for the Nghe An team from 2011 to 2015. At Vinh Stadium, Ngo Hoang Thinh played 88 matches and scored 3 goals. The 26-year-old midfielder was the first-choice central midfielder for SLNA under coaches Nguyen Huu Thang and Ngo Quang Truong.

At the end of 2015, Ngo Hoang Thinh left SLNA to join FLC Thanh Hoa on a three-year contract. While playing for the Thanh Hoa team, he continued to demonstrate his talent and importance. In the past three seasons at FLC Thanh Hoa, Ngo Hoang Thinh has played a total of 50 matches and scored 4 goals (in the V.League only).
Not only did he perform well for SLNA and FLC Thanh Hoa, the player born in 1992 also regularly appeared in the colors of the Vietnam U19, U23 and Vietnam national teams participating in regional tournaments (SEA Games, AFF Cup…).
Unfortunately, Ngo Hoang Thinh's performance this season has not been consistent, so he was not called up by coach Park Hang-seo to the Vietnam national team for the 2018 AFF Cup.
Reportedly, besides Ngo Hoang Thinh, SLNA is also actively negotiating a contract with another "former player," central midfielder Hoang Van Binh. Like Thinh, Hoang Van Binh recently ended his contract with FLC Thanh Hoa. During the second half of the 2018 V.League season, the player born in 1989 was loaned to SLNA by the Thanh Hoa team.
