To bring peach trees from the northern provinces to plant on the Na Ngoi fields, Lau Ba Ha had to "study with a master" in Bac Giang for a whole year. After that, he teamed up with Mr. Tran Van Thanh - an experienced person in growing peach trees in Bac Giang to go to Ky Son to renovate the peach fields. Photo: Hoai Thu

The curved peach tree is only cut for sale, the base will grow new shoots, when the shoots grow 4m, the canopy and shape will be created. Each peach tree, if well cared for and technically ensured, can be exploited up to 10-12 times from the sprouts. Photo: Thanh Phuc

Currently, the peach garden is in the "leaf shedding" phase to create a canopy. Unlike wild peach trees that are currently focusing on growing ripe fruit, the growers of the peach trees are pruning the leaves and picking the fruit to focus on growing the trunk and branches. Photo: Hoai Thu

Due to the meticulous care, growers of curved peach trees like Lau Ba Ha have to stay on the hill constantly, rarely resting. It is estimated that by Tet 2024, he will supply the market with about 3,000 curved peach branches. Photo: Hoai Thu

However, the model of growing curved peach trees of Mr. Lau Ba Ha is quite new, opening a new direction for local people. In addition to cutting branches to sell during Tet, hills and fields planted methodically and planned properly like Mr. Ha's will be attractive tourist destinations, creating a typical product for Na Ngoi land".
