Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov comments on US missile attack on Sevastopol
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not be able to reach Sevastopol without direct US involvement.

According to RIA Novosti, in an interview for the “Moscow – Putin” program broadcast on July 7, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the missiles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not be able to fly to Sevastopol without the direct participation of the United States in guiding the directions to Sevastopol and other regions of Russia from Kiev.
“Without the direct participation of the United States in identifying and targeting, preparing data from satellites, the Ukrainian missiles would not have flown anywhere. As for our response, as the President said, we will respond and I am sure of it. You will see in the near future,” Lavrov said on the program.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that NATO and the United States continue to insist that they are not involved in a conflict with Russia. “This is a bad face before a bad game and they understand this very well,” Lavrov stressed.
In another development, businessman and former owner of the largest file hosting company Megaupload, Kim Dotcom, said that it is necessary to stop supplying Patriot air defense missile systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine because they have proven incapable of defending against Russian hypersonic missiles.
“Two billion dollars of American taxpayer money disappeared in an attack. American Patriot systems are a priority target for the Russian military and have no defense against hypersonic missiles,” said Kim Dotcom.
According to Mr. Dotcom, there are less than 100 Patriot systems in the European Union. “Maybe stop throwing billions of dollars into the black hole?”, the businessman asked.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Iskander missile crew destroyed two Patriot air defense missile system launchers in the Odessa region.
