Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov commented on the US missile attack on Sevastopol.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles would not be able to reach Sevastopol without direct US involvement.

According to RIA Novosti, in an interview for the "Moscow - Putin" program broadcast on July 7, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that missiles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not be able to reach Sevastopol without the direct involvement of the United States in guiding them to Sevastopol and other regions of Russia from Kyiv.
"Without the direct involvement of the US in identifying and targeting, and preparing satellite data, those Ukrainian missiles wouldn't have gone anywhere. Regarding our response, as the President has said, we will retaliate, and I am confident of that. You will see in the near future," Foreign Minister Lavrov said on the program.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that NATO and the US continue to assert that they are not involved in a conflict with Russia. “This is a bad face before a bad fight, and they understand this very well,” Foreign Minister Lavrov emphasized.
In other news, businessman and former owner of the largest file hosting company Megaupload, Kim Dotcom, said that the supply of Patriot air defense missile systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces should be stopped because they have proven incapable of defending against Russian hypersonic missiles.
Kim Dotcom stated: “Two billion dollars of American taxpayers' money vanished in one attack. American Patriot systems are a priority target for the Russian military and are incapable of defending against hypersonic missiles.”
According to Mr. Dotcom, there are fewer than 100 Patriot systems in the European Union. "Perhaps we should stop throwing billions of dollars into a black hole?" businessman Dotcom questioned.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that an Iskander missile crew destroyed two Patriot air defense missile system launchers in the Odessa region.
