For Lam Mai Vi, who won first prize in English, this was a joy and pride because she never thought she would be an excellent student in a subject that was not her talent. Vi shared: “English is a special subject, difficult to learn. To learn this subject well, I worked hard and made an effort to study, especially practicing my listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. As the valedictorian of Chemistry, Duong Quang Sang, also in class 9A1, is the result of his efforts to overcome himself and the care of his teachers, especially the subject teacher. In addition to being a good student, Sang is also a good and dutiful child in his family. When at school, when he comes home on school holidays, he often helps his parents with housework. His parents are farmers, so Sang's family life still faces many difficulties. The encouragement of his teachers and the expectations of his parents have helped Sang realize that only through studying can he escape from a difficult life.
Trying to grasp and master the basic knowledge of the lessons in class, spending time doing advanced exercises through the teacher's training materials, and boldly asking her anytime, anywhere, Sang accumulated enough knowledge and passed the first challenge with proud results.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Bich Nguyet - Principal of Tra Lan Secondary School (Con Cuong) said: This year, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, teachers and students of the school encountered many difficulties in reviewing, but with the efforts to overcome difficulties, teachers and students of the school achieved outstanding results in the recent exam. This achievement not only brought honor to the school and each individual student who won the prize, but also motivated and inspired teachers and students of the whole school to continue to strive to excel in teaching and learning.
