Knowing the story, many curious people came to Mr. Cuong’s house to see and thought that this was a rare golden croaker. Mr. Cuong’s family kept the strange fish.
Hearing about the incident, someone came to Mr. Cuong's house to see the fish and offered 3 million VND, but the family did not agree.
After selling the strange fish, Mr. Luu continued to go fishing. Near the same location where he had caught the strange fish before, Mr. Luu unexpectedly caught two more fish of similar color and shape with a total weight of nearly 4kg. At this time, Mr. Luu's family decided to keep both fish.
Through observation, the strange fish suspected to be rare golden croaker have a golden back, the belly is pale white with a slight yellow. Behind the tail fin there is a black dot the size of a finger.
It is known that in 2013, in the sea off the port of Diem Dien (Thai Thuy, Thai Binh), Mr. Bui Dinh Thang caught a 2.1 m long golden croaker. As soon as it reached the shore, a mysterious tycoon named Tuan, believed to be from Tien Hai district, Thai Binh, spent 1.5 billion to buy the fish.
The case of the golden croaker fish sold for 1.5 billion VND has caused a stir in Thai Binh. This fish is being sold at a price "more expensive than gold" because it has a very special bladder, which is used in medicine in developed countries as a very effective tool. This is the organic material to produce a type of self-dissolving suture that can self-destruct after surgery for patients, does not cause damage to tissue, and minimizes the risk of infection.
