Arriving at Lach Quen wharf at 6am this morning, dozens of fishing boats of Manh Son parish arrived at the wharf, anchored, and transported seafood ashore.
Fisherman Nguyen Van Ho steered his boat close to the dock, scooping up trays of sea shrimp from the boat in the excitement of a good harvest.

Having become a traditional fishing profession, fishermen here often use boats with a capacity of 18 - 24 CV for different types of jobs such as catching crabs, mantis shrimp, sea shrimp, shrimp and other types of fish... Each boat uses a different type of fishing gear and net to exploit seafood.
Fisherman Pham Van Hung said: "Because the boat is small, we only fish about 10-20 km from the mainland. Currently, we are catching shrimp and sea shrimp. Next month, it will be squid and crab fishing season. On this trip, my boat also caught a lot of shrimp and sea shrimp, selling for more than 2 million VND."

When the boats dock, local traders quickly get on the boats to buy seafood for the people, then take it to the markets to sell. In addition, right at the fishing port, there are 2-3 households that buy seafood from fishermen who have just caught it and raise it in aeration tanks to supply to restaurants.
