With favorable weather, fishermen from Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu) set sail to sea to catch seafood. Because they were fishing in the open sea, after just one night, their boats werefishermanback to shore bring many kinds of fish and squid.
A fisherman shared: “In the past few days, fishermen have been lucky, each night of squid fishing brings in an income of 3-5 million VND/boat. Going out to sea to fish after a storm is usually more profitable than usual.”

After the storm, fishermen in Quynh Bang commune (Quynh Luu) and Quynh Lien commune (Hoang Mai town) also went to sea to catch shrimp. In addition to using boats to fish, fishermen also used homemade bamboo rakes along the edge of the sea to catch shrimp.
