(Baonghean.vn)- After storm No. 2 until now, people on both sides of a 300 meter long road from Yen Thanh town to Duc Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) have put up signs to 'cry to heaven' because the road is so bad.

People living on both sides of this road are upset: Before Tet 2017, the construction unit came to dig, build ditches, and fill the road surface with dirt. People thought that people could travel on the road smoothly during the rainy and stormy season, but unexpectedly, after Tet until now, the construction unit has stopped working. During the second rainy and stormy season, the road surface was muddy, and with the large number of trucks passing by, the road surface became a mud pond, with some places having mud up to 30 cm deep, making it impossible for motorbikes and bicycles to travel.
Mr. Nguyen Van An, a resident living along this road, said: When building a new rural area, people support and contribute money and effort to make the village and hamlet roads clean and beautiful, but the district roads are muddy like this, which is unacceptable. He requested that all levels and sectors have solutions to overcome this so that people can travel conveniently.
Frustrated because the road is too muddy, people put up signs complaining about their misery right in the middle of the road.

Talking to us, Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - Deputy Head of the Department of Industry and Trade of Yen Thanh district said: This is a road section that is being upgraded by the state, however the contractor, Viet Phat Company Limited, has stopped construction for many months now. Immediately after storm No. 2 passed, the department urged the District Project Management Board to direct the construction unit to repair the above road section, ensuring traffic safety for the people, but it has not been repaired yet.
