Residents of Green View 2 apartment building fled when a fire alarm sounded early in the morning.
(Baonghean.vn) - Early this morning (November 1st), residents of Green View 2 apartment building were thrown into a panic when a fire alarm was reported.
At approximately 5:20 AM, a fire broke out at the Green View 2 apartment building, located at 2 Hoang Nghia Luong Street, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police directed Fire and Rescue Team No. 1 to mobilize vehicles and personnel to quickly arrive at the scene. Just 3 minutes after arriving, they discovered a malfunction in the electrical technical room between the first and second floors of the apartment building. The building's fire department and the Fire Police promptly handled the situation, preventing any impact on the apartment units.
The initial cause has been identified as a power system malfunction.
According to a resident of Green View 2 apartment building, they had just opened their door to go jogging when they saw smoke rising and heard security guards calling out the fire alarm over the loudspeaker. Then, people panicked, calling out to each other, and rushed down the stairs to get out. Fortunately, the fire department quickly extinguished the fire.
