Residents burned a Fotuner car to the ground, suspecting it was used for child abduction.

The incident occurred in Hong Lac commune, Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province on the evening of July 20th. Authorities have determined that the information about child abduction is untrue.

Initial information indicates that on the evening of July 20th, two men and one woman arrived in a black Fotuner car with license plate 34A-121.79 in Dong Hoi village, Hong Lac commune, to inquire about purchasing wooden furniture.

The car was overturned and vandalized.

While the car was traveling through the village, villagers mistakenly heard information that the three people were using anesthetic drugs to kidnap children, so they blocked the car. The villagers searched the vehicle and found several blister packs of what they suspected to be anesthetic drugs, leading them to assault the people inside.

Not stopping there, the locals also burned the Fotuner car to ashes, leaving only the frame.

The three people in the car were escorted to the police station for questioning by the present police officers. This morning (July 21), the Thanh Ha District Police, Hai Duong Province, conducted a scene investigation to look into the incident.

The car was burned down to its frame.

According to information from the authorities, the public's claim that the people in the car kidnapped children is untrue.

The case is currently under investigation and being handled by the Thanh Ha District Police.
