As a remote commune that is often flooded, during the summer-autumn production, Nhan Thanh People's Committee directed farmers to sow as early as possible to avoid damage caused by storms. To cover the entire area to ensure the crop schedule, the whole commune mobilized over 600 multi-function plows for plowing, harrowing, and tilling.
In the hot and stuffy weather, people have chosen to go to the fields to plant rice at night, both in time for the season and to avoid the sun, to ensure their health.

Mr. Dang Huu Chuong - Vice Chairman - People's Committee of Nhan Thanh commune said: the motto of summer-autumn production is to ensure safety and security. In the past few days, the commune has urged and directed farmers to go to the fields to sow rice at an urgent pace.
To avoid the intense summer heat, most people go to the fields in the late afternoon, work at night, or early morning to avoid the sun. Up to this point, in the commune, more than half of the summer-autumn rice area has completed sowing and transplanting.

Despite having to stay up late and wake up early, farmers in Yen Thanh district overcame difficulties and strived to complete the plan to plant over 11,000 hectares of summer-autumn rice within the safe crop time frame.
