Fisherman discovers female student jumped into river to commit suicide
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing on the Bung River, a man discovered a female student standing on Dien Quang Bridge, Dien Chau District (Nghe An) and then jumped into the river to commit suicide.
According to people at the scene, at around 2:00 p.m. on November 22, while fishing on the Bung River, passing through Dien Quang commune, a man discovered a person suddenly jumping into the river from the railing of Dien Quang bridge.
Immediately after that, this person shouted to the people around, and quickly rowed the boat to the location where the person had just jumped down tosearch for victimsHowever, due to the deep river water, the victim died before being pulled ashore.
Initial investigation determined that the victim was a female, residing in Dien Hanh commune, Dien Chau district. She was a 12th grade student at Dien Chau 3 High School (located in Dien Xuan commune, Dien Chau district).
Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
