Man travels nearly 100km to find passports for foreigners
(Baonghean.vn) - Panicked because they lost their passports before leaving Cau Cau tea island, Thanh An commune, Thanh Chuong district, two foreign tourists were accompanied by local people to travel nearly 100 km to find their passports.
It is known that 2 young men of German nationality visited Cau Cau tea island, Thanh An commune on the afternoon of December 18. They stayed on the tea island for a day and a night. At noon on December 19, while preparing to leave for Quang Binh, Henry Paul - 1 of the 2 guests discovered that he had lost his passport.

While confused and worried, the Western tourist was accompanied by Mr. Nguyen Hai Tho (40 years old) - a resident doing business on the tea island who volunteered to go with him to find his passport. Leaving someone to look after his luggage, Mr. Tho and Henry Paul from Cau Cau tea island followed the Ho Chi Minh road back to the North by motorbike.

While walking, asking, thanks to the area being identified, luckily when they arrived at the Nghia Son gas station, Nghia Dan district at noon, the two people found the lost passport. Upon receiving the passport, Henry Paul was extremely excited and expressed his gratitude to the gas station attendant for taking good care of the passport to return it to the person who lost it. He also did not think that he would find the passport after traveling such a long distance.
Before leaving Cau Cau tea island, continuing their journey across Vietnam from North to South, two young German men said they were very happy to have met kind Vietnamese people.
