Man dies after getting entangled in fiber optic cable.

(Baonghean.vn) - Following Typhoon No. 10, a man died on the spot after getting entangled in a broken fiber optic cable.

The incident occurred at Km1+300 on National Highway 46, in Khanh Thinh hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune, Nghi Loc district.

According to initial information, the victim was Mr. Hoang Trong Bang (born in 1977, residing in Gom hamlet, Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district).

At approximately 3:00 AM on September 16th, Mr. Bang was driving his vehicle along the aforementioned road when he was suddenly entangled in a fiber optic cable stretched across the road due to Typhoon No. 10. As a result, he fell backward onto the road, and the cable severed his throat, causing him to die instantly.

The motorbike with license plate 37-K1 811.72, driven by Mr. Bang, continued moving due to inertia for about 25 meters before coming to a stop.

The Nghi Loc District Police have examined the scene and summoned those involved to clarify the cause of death, and have handed over the body to the family for burial.
