The 20-year-old beauty from Thanh Hoa was crowned Miss Vietnam's Sea and Islands.
Nguyen Thi My Linh, a girl born in 2005 from Thanh Hoa, was crowned Miss Vietnam's Sea and Islands.
The Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands pageant final was recently held in Khanh Hoa, with the participation of 30 beautiful contestants.
In the final round, contestants went through several stages: traditional Vietnamese dress (áo dài) presentation, bikini presentation, and evening gown presentation. Nguyen Thi My Linh (Thanh Hoa) excelled over other candidates to win the top prize, becoming the successor to Miss Dinh Nhu Phuong.
Besides winning the Miss title, My Linh also received a special award.The contestant with the most beautiful face.The first runner-up title was awarded to Phùng Thị Thanh Hằng (Vĩnh Phúc), while Nguyễn Tường Vy (Hanoi) won the second runner-up title.
In the Q&A round, Nguyen Thi My Linh received the following question:What are your impressions of the beauty of Vietnam's islands and seas?
She shared: "For me, the islands and seas of my homeland are where the sky meets the water, where the nation stretches out to the vast ocean. The blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine have created a romantic natural landscape, attracting domestic and international tourists and bringing in a large income."
According to Nguyen Thi My Linh, the beauty of the islands also has a healing quality and provides abundant mineral resources. In her presentation, the beauty queen emphasized that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa are a sacred part of Vietnam.
"After participating in the Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025 pageant, I want to use my voice and actions to spread love for the sea and islands and to preserve and protect the marine environment. In Thanh Hoa, I want to establish a club of young people to work together to carry out a campaign to protect Sam Son beach," the 20-year-old beauty shared.
Sharing her plans after winning the crown, Nguyen Thi My Linh said she will balance her studies and fulfill her role as Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025.
She expressed: "I want to become an intellectual beauty queen, involved in community projects, especially those related to the sea and islands. If there are scheduling conflicts with my studies, I think, with my eagerness to learn, I will choose to study online or ask teachers and friends for extra guidance."
Nguyen Thi My Linh, born in 2005, impressed with her striking beauty. The girl from Thanh Hoa was highly regarded for possessing many qualities, including beauty, performance skills, and academic achievements. My Linh is 1.7m tall with measurements of 80-65-96cm. She is a student in the Tourism Faculty at the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Before winning the top title at Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025, the 20-year-old had previously won the title of First Runner-up in the Elegant Student Beauty Contest in 2024.

Up to 90% of the contestants are currently studying at universities and colleges, which shows the positive transformation of modern beauty pageants, where beauty always goes hand in hand with knowledge and confidence."
