Croatian hero at risk of missing World Cup final
The best player in the Croatia vs England semi-final, Ivan Perisic, is likely to miss the final against France due to a thigh injury.
Perisic equalized for Croatia and hit the post in the second half against England. After the win over the Three Lions, the Inter midfielder was also voted Man of the Match.

However, the constant exertion of playing caused Perisic to strain his thigh muscle. Yesterday (July 12), he had to go to a hospital in Moscow to treat the new injury.
It is known that at the end of the semi-final, Perisic had to wrap an ice pack around the back of his left thigh to reduce swelling.
This is the third consecutive time the Balkan team has had to play extra time at this World Cup. Therefore, the main players were all given a rest in yesterday's training session of Croatia.
Coach Zlatko Dalic admitted that it is still too early to talk about the players' physical condition.
"My players have just enjoyed the joy of reaching the final and they have a day off to recover. I am not ready to talk about the players' condition yet.
Before the match against England, Croatia had a lot of personnel problems, but no one complained. Everyone wanted to play and contribute. So I am very proud of my students."
In case Ivan Perisic does not recover from his injury in time, coach Dalic will consider letting Kramaric start from the beginning, or pushing Brozovic to the left wing.
