Although the patient’s identity is unknown, the doctors are determined to do their best to treat him in order to save his life. The nurses and caregivers also take turns taking care of his nutrition and personal hygiene. The Social Assistance Department provides food and daily necessities such as diapers, towels, etc. During this process, the hospital has announced to find the patient’s family through the press and social networks.
At the same time, in Phu Tho, the patient’s family was also worried and tried every way to find their son. By the evening of July 20, thanks to information on social media, Ms. Dung, Thang’s mother, learned that her son was in a deep coma and being treated at Nghe An General Hospital. Ms. Dung immediately took a bus all night to Nghe An.
“Since my child went missing, my family has been posting messages looking for him everywhere. Because he is not mentally sound, he often wanders around; I am afraid that the worst will happen. Whenever someone tells me about an accident or drowning, his brother comes to look for him. Since the day my child left, I have lost sleep and appetite because I am worried about him. My family did not expect him to go so far. After driving all night to get there, seeing him being treated by doctors and nurses and recovering from the accident, I am so touched and grateful,” Ms. Dung shared.
