This survey was conducted by the websiteiSeeCarsThis study was conducted based on an analysis of data related to over 2.5 million used vehicles (models from 1981 to 2006) sold between January 1st and October 30th.
Accordingly, there were a total of 5 Toyota models, 3 Honda models, one Lexus, and one Subaru. The percentage of first-time owners who kept their cars for at least 10 years ranged from 4% to 32.1%.
"This result is not surprising because Japanese cars are known for their durability and low maintenance... These types of cars are often used as family cars, so they can be kept for many years if they are purchased when people start a family," Phong Ly - CEO of the website.iSeeCars- stated.
