A Hmong woman found 50 million VND and returned it to the owner.
(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling on National Highway 7A in Block 3, Muong Xen town (Ky Son district), Ms. Va Y Sau found a wad of money worth 50 million VND and handed it over to the police to return it to the owner.
At 8:30 AM on March 22nd, the Mường Xén Town Police (Kỳ Sơn District) received a report from Ms. Và Y Sầu, born in 1987, residing in Block 3, Mường Xén Town, stating that at approximately 8:00 PM on March 21st, 2024, while Ms. Sầu and her daughter were traveling from the Tượng Đài hamlet area down to National Highway 7A in Block 3, Mường Xén Town, Kỳ Sơn District, they found a wad of money totaling 50 million VND.
After receiving the report and the property handed over by Ms. Sau, the Muong Xen Town Police deployed a search team, widely publicized the information to the people, and extracted camera footage to find the owner of the lost property.
Through investigation, it was determined that the citizen who lost the money was Mr. Lau Ba Cai, residing in Block 3, Muong Xen town. The town police invited Mr. Lau Ba Cai to the station to retrieve his lost property.
After receiving the 50 million VND back, Mr. Cai expressed his sincere gratitude to Ms. Va Y Sau and the police of Muong Xen town for returning the property to his family.
