(Baonghean.vn) - In the rural area of Hoa Son (Do Luong), Mrs. Thai Thi Khanh is always loved for her kind heart and willingness to help those in need. This loving heart has sown the seeds of charity, contributing to building a compassionate life in her homeland.

"Sowing the seeds" of philanthropy.

In Minh Tho hamlet, Hoa Son commune (Do Luong district), we asked for the house of "Mrs. Khanh the philanthropist," and everyone enthusiastically pointed the way. Her full name is Thai Thi Khanh (born in 1963). She used to be a kindergarten teacher, but due to difficult family circumstances, she returned to farming, working in the fields and developing livestock with her husband.

At that time, Ms. Khanh was involved in the Women's and Farmers' Association of the hamlet, actively participating in various movements, and readily sharing difficulties and helping members who unfortunately faced hardship.

That woman joined the activity.volunteerIt was a coincidence. In 2006, Ms. Khanh was the head of the Farmers' Association branch. Unfortunately, one of the members fell ill with a serious disease and had to sell all their possessions for treatment. Unable to bear seeing her member in such dire straits, Ms. Khanh rallied other members to donate money and rice, however small the amount; she then went door-to-door in the commune, seeking help from friends with better financial means. As a result, she raised over 400,000 dong, which she personally handed over to the family of the member suffering from the serious illness.

Not long after, a neighbor who had gone to work in the South suffered a work accident, his wife fell seriously ill, and their children were still young; their situation was extremely pitiful. Mrs. Khanh once again stepped forward to mobilize neighbors to donate, some more, some less, to help the family gradually overcome their difficulties and hardships. Through these acts, Mrs. Thai Thi Khanh earned even more affection and trust from her neighbors and the people in the village.

"Since then, whenever someone in the village or commune faces hardship or a serious illness, I often take the initiative to mobilize people to donate and support them. Thanks to the trust of the villagers and philanthropists, I have connected with and helped quite a few unfortunate people who have fallen into dire straits."

Following Mrs. Khanh, we arrived at the home of Mr. Thai Dinh Nam, a neighbor who had lived a life of hardship and displacement in Europe, only to return home penniless. His siblings and relatives had to contribute money and labor to help him build his house. Mrs. Khanh alone raised tens of millions of dong to help Mr. Nam buy building materials and supplies, contributing to the construction of a sturdy home.

Mr. Nam said: "Ms. Khanh mobilized and helped me a lot, thanks to which I had enough materials to build this house. After that, she also helped me buy some household items to ensure I could make a living..."

Spreading love

In Minh Tho hamlet, there are also Mrs. Thai Thi Song, Mrs. Thai Thi Ly, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quy, all women with special circumstances. Due to health conditions, they did not marry, or their husbands died from serious illnesses. Their lives are difficult and arduous; they live alone in dilapidated, severely run-down houses but lack the money to repair or rebuild them.

It was built with the encouragement of government agencies and organizations at all levels.house of national unityThese women received financial and labor assistance from their siblings, relatives, and neighbors to build solidarity houses. Through Facebook, Ms. Thai Thi Khanh appealed to the community to contribute approximately 20 million VND each, helping to build new homes.
