Woman uses truck to 'ship' large quantities of counterfeit goods.

Police in Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, have just discovered and seized over 3 tons of goods suspected of being counterfeit laundry detergent, fabric softener, toothpaste, and shampoo of famous brands such as Omo, Comfort, Closeup, Clear, etc.

Through monitoring online activities, the Nhu Xuan District Police discovered an account that regularly posted images of a truck used in the buying and selling of laundry detergent, fabric softener, toothpaste, and shampoo from well-known brands such as Omo, Comfort, Closeup, and Clear, transporting and delivering them to stores in Nhu Xuan District.

These goods are suspected of having markings.counterfeit goodsThe police in Nhu Xuan district reported the matter to the Director and Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police to establish a special task force to combat the crime.

Through professional investigative measures, the Nhu Xuan District Police conducted an administrative inspection of a vehicle with license plate 36H - 051.08 belonging to Trinh Thi Lien (residing in Dong Quang commune, Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province) and seized over 1 ton of suspected counterfeit goods, including Omo brand laundry detergent, P/S and Closeup brand toothpaste, Clear brand shampoo, and Comfort brand fabric softener.

Following an urgent search of Trinh Thi Lien's warehouse in Dong Quang commune, Dong Son district, and the stores where Trinh Thi Lien had delivered goods in various locations throughout the province, the Nhu Xuan District Police seized over 2 tons of counterfeit goods of the aforementioned types.

During questioning, Trinh Thi Lien confessed that all the goods were counterfeit. The Nhu Xuan District Police are currently continuing to investigate and expand the case.
