The authorities of Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, said that a woman had just died while swimming at Dien Thanh beach (Dien Thanh commune, Dien Chau district).
Accordingly, this morning (July 2), Ms. Y. (65 years old, residing in Hong Thinh hamlet, Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district) and 5-6 friends invited each other to go swimming at Dien Thanh beach.
At this time, the group of friends went down to the beach to swim, but Mrs. Y. only swam near the shore. However, when they came back from swimming, everyone did not see Mrs. Y. so they panicked and went looking for her, and discovered her lying motionless near the shore.
Although she was taken to the hospital immediately, Ms. Y. did not survive.
