A few days later, Sophie emailed Trudeau, but he wasn't ready for a serious relationship and didn't reply. But fate intervened. They unexpectedly met again that summer, and Trudeau began to ask her out. They dined at a restaurant and went to a bar where they sang Elton John and Beatles songs karaoke in a private room. At the end of the day, Justin Trudeau whispered to her, "You've come to me. 32 years have passed, and now I'm starting to think about you – the one I thought would never appear. I'll wait for you my whole life." |
