Principles of land registration and property attached to land
Mr. NLH in Nghi Loc district asked: What does the Land Law stipulate about the principles of land registration and assets attached to land?
Article 131 of the 2024 Land Law stipulates as follows:
1. Land registration is mandatory for land users and those assigned land for management.
2. Property attached to land is housing and construction works registered at the request of the owner.
3. Land and property registration attached to land includes initial registration and change registration, which is carried out in the form of paper registration or electronic registration and has the same legal value.
4. Land users, owners of assets attached to land, and persons assigned land for management have declared and registered their land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land and shall be considered for issuance of Certificates of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land if they meet the conditions prescribed by this Law.
5. The Government shall detail the registration of land and assets attached to land.
