Journalist Nguyen Ba is the Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet.
(Baonghean.vn) - Before being appointed Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet newspaper, journalist Nguyen Ba had held many positions in the field of journalism.
On the afternoon of December 1st, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung presented the Decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Editor-in-Chief of the Information and Communications Magazine, to the position of Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper. Mr. Ba assumed his new duties effective from December 1st.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ba (pen name Nguyen Ba, 52 years old), originally from Vinh City, Nghe An province. Before being appointed Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet newspaper, Mr. Ba held many positions in the field of journalism such as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet newspaper and then Editor-in-Chief of Information and Communication Magazine.

Speaking at his new assignment, journalist Nguyen Ba expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications for entrusting him with this new task and responsibility, and thanked his predecessor, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, for working with the VietNamNet team to achieve many accomplishments over the years.
The new Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet stated that he and the team will strive to make VietNamNet a model of positive journalism, solution-oriented journalism, and inspirational journalism, providing readers with profound and valuable content on all aspects of political and social life; spreading goodness and building social trust.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung assessed Mr. Nguyen Van Ba as a capable official who has brought about many significant changes in the operations of the Information and Communications Magazine after three years of his tenure there. Returning to VietNamNet newspaper in a new position, the Minister expressed his hope that the new Editor-in-Chief will be able to address the current challenges. He also affirmed that the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications will work closely with the VietNamNet team to ensure its development.
