Yen Thanh Water Plant improves the quality of water supply services for the people.
Over the years, the Yen Thanh Water Treatment Plant has continuously innovated its technology, invested in infrastructure, and expanded its water supply network. This has improved service quality and ensured the safety of drinking water for the people.

The Yen Thanh water treatment plant is located in Yen Thanh town, Yen Thanh district, with a scale and capacity of 5,000 m³.3Day and night, the unit consistently ensures the supply of clean water to nearly 8,000 households in Yen Thanh town and the communes of Tang Thanh, Hoa Thanh, Van Thanh, Xuan Thanh, and Bac Thanh. In addition, the plant also supplies water to small industrial zones, Yen Thanh General Hospital, and other facilities.
Mr. Hoang Van Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yen Thanh Water Plant, said: To ensure a stable supply of clean water for the people, the plant has proactively developed and implemented a detailed water supply plan for each area, ensuring a stable and continuous water source; strengthening the inspection of input and output water quality, and being ready to serve customer needs 24/7.
Over the past period, the factory has focused on investing in upgrading equipment and machinery to ensure the scientific and safe operation of production plants and the water supply network; promptly handling incidents on the water supply network system, and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.

To improve service quality, the plant's technical staff regularly monitor and inspect the quality of incoming raw water; supervise testing of quality indicators according to regulations; check water quality along pipelines and commercial water samples; regularly inspect the plant sites and maintain machinery and equipment; and ensure the safety and quality standards of the water supplied to the public.
Currently, the plant is upgrading and addressing landslide areas on the embankment of the raw water reservoir to ensure there are no leaks. Notably, the Yen Thanh Water Plant recently connected a water pipeline to supply water for domestic and industrial use to the Vietfast (Taiwan) shoe manufacturing and processing plant project, with a total investment of 30 million USD in Bac Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, employing over 10,000 workers.

The plant has implemented water source protection solutions, coordinating closely with local authorities at all levels to protect water security and safety, and installing 10 "no waste dumping" signs, including 8 signs along the N8 canal and 2 signs on the main canal.
Along with effective management and operation, the plant focuses on improving service quality and customer service. Technical staff are stationed at the facility to receive information, promptly handle incidents, and ensure water supply to residents and businesses as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, the plant has applied information technology to its customer service. Previously, people had to pay their water bills in cash, but now they can pay through smartphone applications, saving time...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, a resident of Yen Thanh town, said: "The water plant always provides enough water for people's use and daily life, especially ensuring that the water is always clean, so people feel secure using tap water."
Mr. Hoang Van Minh added: To further improve service quality, in 2025, the factory will invest in upgrading some automation equipment, such as replacing manual valves with electric valves, and investing in Lamen sedimentation technology - a water treatment method using gravity sedimentation to remove suspended solids from water sources.

In order to proactively secure raw water sources, in 2025, the Yen Thanh Water Treatment Plant will begin construction of the "Regulating Lake and Water Reservoir for Domestic Water Supply" project in the Roc Lai area, Yen Thanh town, with the Yen Thanh District People's Committee as the investor, covering an area of 2.5 hectares.
The reservoir will accumulate over 90,000 m³.3After being put into operation, in addition to creating a beautiful environment, it also helps the Yen Thanh Water Treatment Plant to be proactive in the operation of clean water supply. In particular, the plant is completely self-sufficient in water supply to serve the people and businesses.
Thanks to this, the Yen Thanh Water Treatment Plant has made a positive contribution to improving public health and effectively serving the water needs of people and businesses in the district.
