The plant is expected to start operating in September 2016. Approximately 1,300 workers, divided into various construction teams, are always present on the site.

The Song Lam Cement Plant project is being built with a capacity of 18,000 tons/day in Bai Son commune, Do Luong district. Phase 1 (2015-2017) involved the investment in two production lines with a total capacity of 12,000 tons of clinker/day (equivalent to 4 million tons of cement/year), creating jobs for 2,000 workers. Phase 2 (2017-2020) involved the third production line with a capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker/day. |
