Huge stilt house in mountainous district of Nghe An catches fire
At around 11am on September 6, many residents in Hop Thuan hamlet, Dong Hop commune (Quy Hop, Nghe An) saw black smoke rising from the largest wooden stilt house in the area. Just a moment later, a fierce fire engulfed the corrugated iron roof covering the front of the house.

It is known that the above stilt house is located on a 1 hectare campus, the entire stilt house of the LA business owner. This is considered the largest stilt house in the West with elaborate design, carvings, and shapes. All the columns, rafters, doors, walls, horizontal lacquered boards, and parallel sentences are made from old lim wood. Of which, 30 main columns all have a diameter of over 50 cm.

As soon as the incident was discovered, people nearby helped the family put out the fire and called the authorities to carry out fire fighting.
The fire has not yet recorded any human casualties.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified.
